Chore Crew Privacy Policy
Chore Crew

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: October 17, 2026

The short version

  • A parent or guardian sets up Chore Crew. Kids never sign up on their own.
  • For kids, we keep only a first name or nickname, an age, and what they do in the app.
  • No ads, no outside tracking, and we never sell or share your family's information.
  • Chore photos are off unless a parent turns them on, and each one deletes itself 30 days after approval.
  • You can see, change or delete anything about your kids at any time.

This policy explains how Reagan and Master P Productions LLC, doing business as Chore Crew ("Chore Crew," "we," "us") handles information in the Chore Crew website at mychorecrew.com and the Chore Crew app on the web, iPhone and Android (together, "Chore Crew"). The Children's Privacy Notice below explains our practices for children under 13, as the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requires.

1. Early preview: your information stays on your device

Right now, the Chore Crew web app at mychorecrew.com/app is an early preview. Everything you enter, including your kids' names, ages and chores, is saved only in your device's browser. It is not sent to us, and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser's site data deletes it.

When grown-up accounts launch, information will be stored on our servers so your household can use Chore Crew on more than one device. Before any child's information is collected that way, we will ask a parent for verifiable permission as described below, and we will update this policy if anything changes.

2. Children's Privacy Notice

Chore Crew is made for families with children. We follow COPPA and the Federal Trade Commission's COPPA Rule.

We are the only operator that collects or keeps children's personal information through Chore Crew. Parents can contact us at the address above with any question.

Parents come first

A parent or legal guardian creates the household, confirms they are 18 or older, verifies their email address or mobile number, and gives permission before any child is added. We use a "plus" method: we send a code to verify you, then send a confirmation of your permission afterward.

What we collect from or about children

  • Profile: a first name or nickname and an age, entered by a parent.
  • Choices the child makes: their three colors, look, emblem, and savings goal name and amount.
  • Activity: chores they claim, pass on, save for later, finish and get approved; amounts earned and paid; "streak" counts.
  • Chore photos, only if a parent turns on photo proof: pictures of a finished chore and the time taken. We remove location data from photos.
  • Technical information: a sign-in session identifier, basic device and browser details, and the IP address in our hosting provider's server logs. We use these only to run and protect the service, as explained below.

We do not collect children's last names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, precise location, contacts, voice recordings, video, biometric information or government ID numbers. Children cannot make any information public in Chore Crew: there are no public profiles, chats, messages or posts.

How we use children's information

  • To show the household's chore board, each kid's chores, balance and savings goal.
  • To let grown-ups in the household approve chores, send them back, see photos and mark money paid.
  • To show the look and colors the child picked.
  • To keep the service secure, working and free of fraud.

We do not use children's information for advertising, to build profiles, to sell anything to children, or to train artificial intelligence models.

Persistent identifiers

We use a sign-in session identifier and similar technical identifiers only to support the internal operations of Chore Crew: keeping a household signed in, remembering settings, securing accounts, preventing fraud, and keeping the service running. They are never used to contact a specific child, to show ads, or to build a profile of a child. Access to them is limited to our staff and service providers who need them for those purposes.

Who sees children's information

  • Your household: grown-ups you invite can see your kids' information. Kids see the shared chore board, the first names of siblings who claimed a chore, and their own balance.
  • Our service providers, only to run Chore Crew for us, under contracts that limit their use of the data:
    ProviderWhat they doInformation involved
Vercel Inc.Hosts the website and appServer logs, including IP addresses and pages requested
Supabase Inc.Database, file storage and grown-up sign-inAll account information described in this policy, including chore photos when turned on
Cloudflare Inc.Domain name service (directs visitors to our host)None of your app information
Email and text message delivery providersSend sign-in codes, invites and permission confirmations to grown-upsGrown-ups' email addresses or mobile numbers and the message. Never children's information
  • Legal reasons: if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a child or anyone else.
  • Business transfer: if Chore Crew is sold or merged, the new owner must protect children's information as this notice promises, and we will tell parents first.

We do not sell children's information and do not disclose it to third parties for their own use. If we ever wanted to, we would ask parents for separate permission first, and a parent could say yes to Chore Crew while saying no to that sharing.

How long we keep children's information

We keep children's information only as long as reasonably needed to run Chore Crew for your household, then delete it. We do not keep it indefinitely.

InformationWhy we keep itWhen it is deleted
Kid profile, chores, choices and earningsTo run the household's chore board and balancesWithin 30 days after a parent removes the kid or closes the account
Chore photosSo grown-ups can check a chore was done30 days after the chore is approved; right away if a chore is sent back, a parent deletes the photo, or a parent turns photo proof off
Households nobody signs in toNone once unusedAfter 12 months without a sign-in, following a warning email

BackupsRecovery if something breaksDeleted information can stay in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before they are overwritten

Parents' rights and how to use them

As a parent or guardian, you can at any time:

  • Review your child's information in Grown-up HQ, or ask us for a copy.
  • Correct it in Grown-up HQ.
  • Delete it by removing the kid in Grown-up HQ, deleting any photo, or emailing us.
  • Refuse further collection or use by removing the kid or closing the account. You can also turn photo proof off at any time.

To make a request by email, write to privacy@reaganandmasterp.com from the email address on your account. We will confirm you are the child's parent or guardian before sharing or changing anything, and we will respond within 30 days.

Voice recordings

Chore Crew does not collect audio or voice recordings of children.

3. Information about grown-ups

We use this information to run your account, send sign-in codes, invites and service messages, answer support requests and keep Chore Crew secure. We keep it while your account is open. When you close your account we delete it within 30 days, except permission records, which we keep for up to 3 years after closing to show we followed the law.

Sharing Chore Crew with friends: when you tap Share, the message goes out from your own phone or email to people you choose. We never see or collect your contacts.

4. Text messages

If you choose text message instead of email, Chore Crew sends texts to the number you give us for sign-in codes and account alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase, and you can use email instead.

We will not share your mobile number or your text message opt-in with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Your opt-in data and consent are shared only with the providers that deliver our messages.

5. Cookies, tracking and "Do Not Track"

We use only what Chore Crew needs to work: a sign-in session and browser storage that remembers your settings. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, social media pixels or any other tracking tools, and no other company collects information about your activity in Chore Crew over time or across other websites.

Because we do not track you across websites, your browser's "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control setting does not change how Chore Crew works; there is no tracking to turn off.

6. How we protect information

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Each household's information is walled off from every other household by database access rules, PINs are hashed, chore photos are stored privately, and only staff who need access to support you can get it. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach affecting your information ever happens, we will tell you as the law requires.

7. Where information is stored

Chore Crew is run from the United States, and information is stored on servers in the United States.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what information we have about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. To use any of these rights, email privacy@reaganandmasterp.com. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days, and we will never treat you differently for asking. You may use an authorized agent, who must show us your written permission.

9. Teens

Kids 13 to 17 get the same protections in Chore Crew as younger kids: no ads, no tracking, no public sharing, and parent control over their information.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date. If a change affects how we collect, use or share children's information, we will notify parents and ask for new permission before the change applies to their child.
